Today was a long, hard day for Montana. She had a bath in the yard with the hose, then a long brush with the Furminator, then an extended tooth-brushing session with poultry-flavored toothpaste, then a toenail trim that took way longer than necessary because she kept yanking her feet away.
She would like everyone to know that she is now accepting applications from potential new families that will promise not to groom her. And also that the treat in front of her in the photo in no way made up for the cruel indignities she was made to suffer.
