Amazon is having a one-day, 50% off sale for some of their Melissa & Doug toys. From what I hear, Melissa & Doug is one of the best toy brands out there, and kids love their stuff.
Here is what I wanted to buy: the picnic basket, the sushi set, the grill set, the shape sorter clock, and the pull-along frog (and, well, really, every other toy on the page).
Here is what I actually bought: the picnic basket. On the logic that it doesn’t make sense to spend a ton of money on toys that Piglet won’t be able to use for years. Plus everyone says the picnic basket is always a huge hit with babies, so I expect it to become one of Piglet’s favorite toys.
I am very proud of my restraint. And simultaneously feeling guilty for even buying one thing when we are on such a tight budget.
